Cesky Krumlov sits by the river Vltava in South Bohemia. The city has two main districts: Latran (around
the Castle) and the district on the slope between two bends of the river Vltava Town Cesentury castle with
Gothic, Cesky Krumlov Chateau was constructed in the 13th century. The castle area is one of the lky Krumlov
situated south of the Czech Republic on the banks of the Vltava river, the town was built around a 13th-cargest
in central Europe. It is a complex of forty buildings and palaces, situated around five castle courts and a castle
park spanning an area of seven hectares.
This castle city in the South-East of the Czech Republic has preserved its medieval center as no other town in
the region. For this reason it entered the UNESCO register of monuments of world significance in 1992. |
